Update:  I want everyone to know that when I kneel before the Lord to start my day and pray His will be done and not mine.  To send me people to witness to, to serve Him in everyway I can.  When I surrender to His will and give Him my life, my day.  I have noticed that I witness more, I realize the moments God says do this or that.  I am not focused on what I could be worried about.  I have courage to do His will and even though things are hard and might not be going how I want I see it all flowing, His will that is.  The devil cant stop that!!! But you must do this with all your heart, it doesn’t have to be a long prayer but in Spirit and in Truth.  Get on your knees world and beg for forgiveness, Our LORD Jesus is good and will forgive us if we repent.  Lets serve Him, time is running out.  O the blood of Jesus.  O delmo shel Yeshua.  Joshua Aaron on Youtube.   O yea, God is sending me muslims to witness to and show them the Love of our LORD Jesus Christ…  I am shining as a bright light to all.  Also a met a guy, I told you about him in a past newsletter.  Dad was with him in Picota.  He came to me to see if I could teach him how to preach.  I said I can talk with you and go through the Word and all, but true preaching comes through the Holy Spirit, no one taught me,no man that is.  I do pick up things from other people, but each persons preaching should be unique because its how the Holy Spirit moves through you.  So we had a short study and a few guys showed up, people are being drawn to me.  So I serve…  I am trying to get a group of guys together then we will set off and go about witnessing through out the Rec. yard.  I have passed out around 50-75 chick Bible tracts.  This was Your Life… In English and Spanish.  I am showing these men how to go unto the world and preach the Gospel.   Sometimes I feel, when I am being moved by the Spirit, how Jesus must have felt teaching and walking with men serving the Father.  No comparison of course, I just think of Him.  (Note: If anyone wants to go to Chick Publications or Amazon and purchase and send me Bible tracts, you cant send more than 25 at a time.  So 10-20 would be fine.  In Spanish and English.  On Salvation!!!.  Take part is saving souls, cause I will give them out, I wont fail.)  Now I will get to the newsletter…

Jonathan David to all who are broken and hurt and can’t seem to find healing.  I know what you are feeling.  Your situation might be different than mine, but your hurt and brokenness is a very personal thing.  And just because it might be different than mine, that doesn’t make it hurt less.  I would like you to know that I am an empath.  When I cry in pain and cry out to God in prayer, even if I don’t know you, I think about the broken and hurt. I cry your tears, my tears are the tears of the hurt, when I cry in the Spirit.   It might be a gift, but this gift hurts.  It makes me go on, it makes me stand for the weak and hurting, it makes me pray for my enemy. When I shed those tears of Love, they are the tears of the Holy Spirit, they are not mine.  One of those times where God showed me that those tears are not mine alone, was after a hearing Jordan and I were taken to.

I preached to judge Altonaga and pleaded with all that were there to repent and turn to Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.  When finished, they took Jordan and I to the cage in the back and the tears began to flow.  I couldn’t stop them. It made no sense to me, but the Holy Spirit kept telling me how sad He was that these people rejected the LORD Jesus Christ.  Those tears were the Lord expressing His sadness through me.  How and why would or should I care to cry for them?  They have taken part in destroying my life and breaking me.  But could the LORD use this situation to rebuild me, to make me New?  I believe that situation I just explained was a short preview of how in and through my brokenness, that God was showing me His heart.  You must see that our LORD and Saviour Jesus Christ “learned obedience by the things He suffered”.  Hebrews 5:8&9 says-“Though He were a Son, yet learned He obedience by the things which He suffered; And being made perfect, He became the author of eternal salvation unto all then that obey Him;”

By His obedience, Jesus did not gain new character traits that he had lacked before: rather, His experience brought Him more empathy with our human condition.  No one understands us like Jesus.  “Being made perfect”, it says about Jesus. How could it say that about the only perfect man.  Well, the word used in the Greek is teleioo, which means to complete, accomplish, consummate, finish, fulfill.  In His suffering, He was broken, but He didn’t remain broken.  Nope.  More greater things came from His brokenness. He became the Author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey Him.  So when we are broken, through our suffering we have a decision to make.  Are we going to obey Jesus or not? If and when we do obey Him, we will also be made perfect/complete and mature.

I Peter 5:10 makes me think of the Apostle Peter.  Think about his story.  A man passionate about serving the LORD, he loved Jesus.  But his emotions and feelings kept getting in the way of the LORD’s will for his life.  So what did the LORD do?

He allowed Satan to sift Peter, better yet Simon.  So that Peter would emerge, the man he was made to be.  You see, the devil can destroy that old man, the carnal man.  But he cannot destroy the New man, the inner man, the one Jesus saves with His blood.  And the LORD will allow this to happen, so that the New man will emerge.  Here is what 1 Peter 5:10 says-“But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.”

We still have something to do during this time of brokenness to come through it changed.  Look what Jesus did in Luke 22:41-42, it says-” And He was withdrawn from them about a stone’s cast, and kneeled down and prayed, Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine,be done.”

Jesus knelt down, He humbled Himself, He died to Himself. He said, “Thy will be done Father!!!  Not my will…

For a seed must be buried and die before it can become a plant that produces fruit.  John 12:23-25 says-” And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified. Verily, Verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.  He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.”

(Hateth his life in this verse means to love less) So basically we need to love the LORD and serve Him with all of our life.

In the Hebrew, the word used in Daniel 6:10 to kneel is barak. Here is it in Daniel 6:10- ” Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being opened in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.”

Barak means bless, to bless, kneel or even curse.  So if you kneel and humble yourself before the Almighty God.  You will be blessed as you bless Him with your humble service by giving your life to Him, for His glory.  The opposite happens if you kneel down and serve anything or anyone else.  You will be cursed…

Daniel, in chapter 6, had to make a decision.  To die to the old man. And to be willing to die to himself to glorify God.  And through his brokenness and suffering, look what God did through him.  Not only in this particular situation, but in all his life.

Look at the man he became. A captive as a teenager and a slave pretty much all his life, but also a ruler in a foreign land.  Ruling over his captors!!!  How can he be both?  God doesn’t have limits, He blesses the humble, the one’s that will kneel to Him and do His will.  The attacks that God chooses not to prevent from reaching us, are because He will utilize them to bring forth a glorious testimony.  See Daniel 6:26-28.

This Newsletter came about mostly from the following passage in Psalm 119:60-80.  Everyone should read it and meditate on it.  I am only going to touch up on the verses 71 & 75.  Verse 71 says-“It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.”  And verse 75 says-” I know, O LORD, that thy judgments are right, and that thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me.” Speaking of affliction and adversity, biologists also establish and call ” the law of adversity” applied to the world of plants and animals, in which it is considered that the continuous and habitual wellbeing, is not profitable for any species.  Because an unchallenged existence produces victims among almost all living creatures. As for us Christians, the Bible says the trials that challenge us develop our faith. (James 1:2-4 says-“My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.”)

We are always trying to find an answer to our suffering whether we brought it upon ourselves or not.  But does any answer make you feel better?  Not really.  We still hurt in our suffering.  An answer that the LORD is leading me to during my suffering and brokenness is that we learn obedience through suffering, like our Lord Jesus did.  Does it make my pain go away, does it make me feel better? Not really.  But it does help me see the purpose of it.  It is to glorify the LORD with an obedient life.  Others will see this and God will be glorified.  Philippians 2:5-11 says-” Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.  Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is LORD, to the glory of God the Father.”

If Jesus humbled Himself and knelt down to do the Father’s will, then I will choose to do the same.  Because if He did it for me, I will humbly kneel to Him.  And if I don’t kneel to Him in this life, I will still have to do it one day anyways.  At that time it will be to late.

I hope everyone got something out of this newsletter.  Our brokenness is not wasted in Jesus.  He uses it to make us New.  Be made New through our LORD Jesus Christ!!!

I bless you all my fellow brothers and sisters.  Your prayers comfort my soul, your help lifts my spirit, your love calms my mind and body. All if this is done through the Holy Spirit.  Praise the name of Jesus, our Messiah, our God, our Friend.

I love you all and hope to see you one day soon.
