A wink from God…

I have mentioned in the past when something happens in my life in a weird but cool way.  When God is showing me that He is listening and watching.   I call it winks from God.
So if everyone does’nt know yet, Mom was able to visit last weekend.  It had been over 4 years since I was able to see my mother close up and give her hugs and kisses.  It was very special to her and I. I will write more on our visit in my up-and coming Newsletter. Hopefully, I will finish by next weekend.  We might be locked down and the computers have been off here and there.  So I will do what I can.  Thank you to everyone who has prayed and also donated to make that visit happen, may God bless you all.  Maybe, in the near future I will be able to have my wife and boys visit, we pray and wait.

Now for the wink.  When Mom came, we were able to have 2 pics taken together.  They said it should be delivered by Friday, today, 11/01/24, so that I can ship them to Mom and the fam.  I had’nt been thinking about the pics, but when I looked up at the TV there was an actress with very blue eyes and it reminded me of the pics because I thought my eyes looked really blue in them, at least on the camara. I have blue eyes by the way.  So at that moment, I thought to myself, well maybe not just to myself because God heard.  I thought, “O yea, what about those pics, its Thursday, I wonder if they are going to give them to me soon.”  Right as that thought ended I looked down from the TV and a guy was walking up to me and said” Are you Jonathan?”   Yep, that’s me I said.  He said I was looking for you. Here, I believe these pics are yours.  I said, I was thinking of that at this very moment.
I know it might not sound like much to you out there.  But I want you to know, that when your life is completely turned upside down and you turn to Jesus with all your heart and seek His face, you will see Him in everything and everywhere.  He cares for us and is involved in what we might not consider important details.  He will show Himself to you, but you must seek His face with all your heart.

I was encouraged, I hope you were too.

Jonathan HE WILL KEEP YOU STRONG TO THE END, you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God, who has called you into fellowship with his son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful. 1 Cor 8

Amen and amen. Paul said “my message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but a demonstration of the Spirit’s power so that your faith might not rest on men’s wisdom, but on God’s power”.
    2 Cor 4

The lawfare of Corruption cannot touch your Spirit, that is the power and the wisdom of God, the devil can never shame you. I rebuke the devil over you, “No Eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him”, my brother in the Lord, we are not of this world and “everything will be revealed to those who are of Christ and Christ is of God”. (Paul, Corinthians)

I know you know all of God’s word, we hear you, you are not alone, you are loved Jonathan.

Suffering not a stranger to me and yet my heart breaks more for fathers who suffer Longing for their children. Yesterday I saw the house of a family demolished by a floating truck in the brutal flooding in Spain. A broken father (not on camera) told of holding his two small sons in his arms when suddenly the intensity of the water burst through the wall sweeping both boys away with the current. We keep our eyes on the Lord and we await the day we come together in Him. God keep you in his arms enduring your blessed path of pastoring, preaching and writing His praise.

Greeting my dear Sister, Here is a response from Jonathan. Dear Diane,
Amen, amen and amen my dear sister.
I do feel the pressure of the lawfare of corruption, and I do sometimes just want to quit. But the LORD sustains me and He alone is my Help. There is revealing happening everyday in our lives and the lives of the evil ones. We must remain strong in the LORD. Thank you for the words of encouragement, I am a wounded soldier in this battle.

I thank God for you all, it helps me to know that there are more of us out there. Sometimes I feel like Elijah, but then God says, I have many reserved for My work.

I am always grateful to the LORD for keeping my family safe. If I was with them maybe that wouldnt be so, not sure. So I trust Him. I know so many people are suffering, but God in His loving Mercy is calling people through their suffering to come to Him before it is to late. Because when His wrath comes, it will be to late…

I will continue to serve and dear sister, thank you for your kind words, may our LORD and Saviour Jesus Christ bless you

Thank you for this beautiful story of the wink. It is my wink today that our dear Lord hears our thoughts and prayers even in those things perceived as ordinary. He is indeed on the throne and will wrap you in his giant wings.

I shared you response with Heather. I let them know that their responses to the web are refreshing to your spirit like a glass of cold water.
        Proverbs 25:25
As cold waters to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country.

        Response from Jonathan:
Amen, yes they are. You sometimes feel so alone in here and that your stand wasnt worth it. Then other say, it was, keep going!!! Warrior of God!!!
        Amen
