Hi everyone,
This is a short follow up on our brother Eddie and how God is using him in here by finding favor with the prison staff.
If you haven’t read on Eddie and his testimony, you can go back and read prior posts.  Well, he got a good job in here.  One of the top orderly jobs, kind of hard to get.  But after the Warden met and heard Eddie’s song, things have been working out.  We have seen the blessings of having Eddie in that orderly position.  He is in my unit and usually it seems we are the last where things get fixed or complaints heard.  After Eddie wrote a letter to the Warden with ideas how to better things here for the inmates, a couple of the things came to past.  Like a week with a bit more to spend on commissary, the TV’s lowered, because they were so high and a few other things.  Also, when our computers go down to a breaker flipping, usually it takes days for someone to come and flip it.  But seeing Eddie is cleaning the offices of the higher-ranking officers, he has the opportunity to speak with them or others who can get things fixed.  So, the other day the computers got working again sooner than usual.  It might not sound like much, but to us, it is communication with our families and other things to do.
So last night, Friday.  I saw Eddie and said, where you been all day bro?  He said was busy all day helping out with commissary so everyone could get it before the weekend.  I asked, yea, what happened?  It was our unit today and they didn’t start until 9 am and we thought we were hit. (meaning didn’t get it this weekend, LOL) Eddie said, well, When I was over there, I brought it up to the Standing Warden, seeing the Warden is not here.  He asked him: Why is it that our unit almost always misses a week when a unit is going to miss it, not even for anything we have done?  He found out that the commissary workers/Officers didn’t come into work.  So the AW called the USP and had a few guys come down to make sure we get our commissary, this doesn’t happen ever.  So, Eddie not having to, went and worked all day to make sure everyone gets their commissary, even working until the night.  I said, Eddie, God bless you bro, you are finding favor with the people here and God is blessing you and you are blessing others bro. That’s awesome.
He then said something we both found to be funny. He said, “We needed an Aaron here to speak for Moses and the people”.  I asked, who is the Moses?   You!!!, Eddie said…  I said bro, part of my next newsletter is Let my people go!!!
No way….  O yea, more winks from the Almighty.  We are on the right path people, following the Way, the Truth and the Life.  Being more like our LORD Jesus Christ.  Amen.
