Dear Dick, Please send this to all who helped with my visit.
This is Barbara Grenon the mother of Jon and Jordan who are both still incarcerated. I was able to visit Jordan in New Jersey prison in September and then just visited Jonathan in Mississippi last weekend. Both visits were a blessing and a joy to see them I have only seen them one time in the last 4 years until now. The other visit was the sentencing last October, that was a horrible visit. we could not really even talk to each other. These last 2 visits were great. My sons made me so happy. The devil tried to stop us in many ways when we went to see Jordan flat tire , delayed flight etc. But we just prayed and God took care of us. Very long lines to get into the prison there. but 5 hours of talking and eating vending food. Could not bring anything in not even a watch but Jordan had some tickets to take photos of us together Haven’t seen them yet. It was super special. God was also with me this past weekend. I went by myself I flew to Atlanta then to Jackson Mississippi then got a rental car and drove to a small motel near Jonathan. Everything worked out well Less people were there No waiting in line Was so surprised to see him also We cried as I did with Jordan, I miss them so much. We talked about everything for 5 hours and I froze It was so cold in the visiting place. I went back the next morning for another visit because I don’t know when I will be able to visit either one of them again. Of course, it was hard leaving but I had another visit to go to. One of my other sons picked me up at the airport and drove me to Memphis TN He brought me to another son’s house (Joe who got out of prison a few months ago) to meet my 3 grandchildren who I’ve never met. I am emotionally drain and happy to have seen everyone in the past 2 months. Please continue to pray God does something like a miracle and lets Jon and Jordan out. I know He can. So thank you all who have helped me to see them and we are now praying that Jon’s wife and kids may be able to visit in a few weeks.
