Oh how great is our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ my fellow brother and sisters.
This post is an update on what has happened in the past 6 weeks or so. Sometimes things seem like they will never change and the monotony can become really hard to live day after day. But O how our LORD is always working. We just have to stay firm and steady, to not be swayed by anything but to keep giving our days to the LORD. Dedicating our whole lives to His will.
About 6 weeks ago I told the elders of the Spanish church that the LORD was leading me to help in an English Bible study that would be happening at the same time as the Spanish Church service. I said that I would like to still continue to meet with them on the designated days we separated for Bible studies or organizing services, etc.. But that I would be sitting out from preaching for now. I told them that I didn’t agree with something’s that a few of the guys were preaching and pointed out how it wasn’t Biblical. Some guys agreed and others didn’t. Soon after that I saw that some of the elders were trying to make a separation from some of us guys who spoke out against false doctrines. So I just prayed about it and would still go to the meetings. It just so happened that only a few guys would show up and we found out that the other guys were meeting somewhere else. Some of the guys were getting upset, but I would say that although that is wrong, wait on God, He will do the work. We must keep focus and keep serving where He wants us, where ever that may be. Two Fridays ago, all the guys who have served in the leadership role and a few others were called together(by the Chaplain) to make a vote for 4 preachers and 4 men that will direct the church service. He only wanted that amount of men for the next few months. So I went to vote for someone I believe the LORD will use to bring the message that these men need. About 20 guys were in attendance. Mind you, I didn’t go expecting to be called on to preach, so I was gonna state it right from the beginning. But the Holy Spirit basically told me to let it play out. And I did. I was selected to preach 1st. Which I did yesterday, Saturday 03/08/25.
Also of the 8 men chosen to do the work of the LORD for the next few months, it was of the men who were not pursuing anything. The most simple men.
Before I knew I was going to preach, a brother I pray with said we should fast. This was days before I knew I would preach and we ended up planning to fast this past weekend, which we did. And it all worked out for the Holy Spirit to move me mightily. I preached on David and Goliath. The title of the sermon is: “Remembering your giant swords.”
As a little boy,my dad would preach this sermon in almost every church we went to. So it was not only installed in my mind, but in my heart. At times, I would think, I know this one already dad. But it has stuck with me all my life. Of course I added a bit to it, as I have had my own experiences also.
When David was running from Saul, in I Samuel 21:8&9. We see that David is given the sword of Goliath. At that moment I imagine that the memories of that battle came into David’s mind. And he was reminded of what God did that day. So I then went on to explain to everyone that we must remember the battles in our lives where the LORD gave us the victory. When your down and out, think on what the LORD did in your life. Most importantly on that day on Calvary where He gave His life to save us. We must remember people!!!
Funny thing at one point in the message, when David lets go of that stone from the sling, that ends up sinking into Goliath’s head. Well, dad used to blow hard in the microphone. And explain on how the LORD was behind it all and that stone came out at Mach 1, then 2 and so forth until it hit Goliath in the head. So I did just that and everyone in the church jumped and we all laughed together. I went on to say, if anyone was sleeping, well, not anymore. And it was good because everyone was very alert for when I finished that story I went into I John 5:4-5 and how we overcome the world by faith, in Jesus Christ. I then walked them down the Romans road and when I was going to end the sermon and invite anyone to come and accept Jesus Christ as their LORD and Saviour, I did what the LORD had showed me days before while in prayer. I said to everyone that isn’t it amazing how in this very chapel on most of the nights, there will be muslim men kneeling down and praying altogether to their idol and not the Living God. But they all still get on their knees and do it. How much more should we who call ourselves sons of the Living God, the One True God our LORD and Saviour Jesus Christ. So we all got on our knees and blessed and thanked the LORD for all that He has done for us.
I saw many men moved and when I went to sit back down while the brother Arturo closed the service. I sat next to a guy who when he came in looked like he was struggling. He looked at me in teary eyes and said, that message was for me. He said I was reminded when God saved my life while I was locked up with Covid and I thought I was going to die. He said he passed out for he doesn’t know how long and woke up feeling better. He thought he had died. (Just so you know, men did die in prison during the Plandemic). We never know what the LORD will do with a willing heart, but I promise you, things will happen. His Word does not come back void.
Yesterday, 03/09/25, Sunday. Palacios, Jose and I finished our fast at 3 pm and thanked the LORD and ate a soup together. We felt an accomplishment spiritually and rejoiced. But God was not done yet.
After they let us out, after count, around 5 pm. Quez saw me(I have written about him before, I have been ministering to him for months now) and said will you come and pray with me, I said let me finish this thing that I was doing and I would. When I found him, we talked a bit and he said he wanted to accept Jesus Christ as His LORD and Saviour. So we went to my cell and he did!!!
I just wanted to share that with everyone. That even though my life has been very much abused by these evil people, the LORD is always using me to encourage, comfort and witness to all. May the LORD be number 1 in your life, always and forever.

I thank God for your faith and Thank You for your humble servant’s heart and beautiful message. It reminds me of one of my devotions, that I’d like to share with you.
Dealing with Stress
BIBLE READING:Romans 14
Men and women are filled with stress; it’s a common problem. They may complain, but many will not make changes that might reduce the stress.
The Bible promises that God wants us to have a victory over stress. Paul reminded the Romans that Christians are not to focus on “eating and drinking” rather we are to focus on God’s kingdom. This means focusing on “righteousness, and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.”
This focus gives us balance and proper priorities. We can concentrate on doing what is right. We can be filled with peace because we trust completely in God. We can have joy because we serve Him and draw on the joy of His Spirit.
God be with you.
-Romans 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
Prayer: Father help me live in obedience to Your Word. Fill me with Your Spirit, and give me peace and joy. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
