“Prison Revival, New Disciples, and God’s Miraculous Provision: A Powerful Update from Jonathan David – A Pilgrim Prisoner”

Hi everyone,

I wanted to do a short post with a few updates of what God has been doing in here.  I should have a Newsletter soon on the sermon I preached yesterday 05/31.  Praise God 2 men were saved!!!

1. Jose.  Remember I wrote about him some time ago.  He and Palacios(who has left) were the 2 guys I came to know and pray and do Bible studies with since I arrived here.  I am with Jose now in the same cell, we continue the work of the LORD together.  He has matured so much spiritually and loves the LORD with all his heart.  He reminds me of my brother Jordan, who is in prison still.  Jose encourages me, listens to me, we talk about what we are living and what the LORD leads me to preach. He also hears me out in my bad times, and it helps very much.  Jose is my Mexican Jordan (I miss you little bro very much, but God provides what I need to go on. I see Jose reaching out to people, he has a good heart, the LORD is using him.  We both tell everyone that comes into our path about the LORD, we help the ones who have nothing.  Jose has a little store here (buying commissary and providing it for a extra fee) It gives us an opportunity to witness and help others. Some with money can’t pay right away or ever, and there he is to help them.  We give of our food to those who don’t have.  Many people say give to the ones who can give back, we purposely do the opposite of what the world does. That is our calling.  Jesus taught us that and does it through us.  He chose to surrender His will, so shall I.   The men flock to our cell, to talk, looking for advice, seeking help.  It’s like a magnet.  Jose and I are learning and affecting others’ lives.

(Short note:  When in Miami some time ago, an officer came into the unit I was in for about 3 years, 7 West.  He said he never saw the blacks with whites, the whites with the Spanish, the Spanish with the blacks, well, you get the idea, everyone doing things together.  He said that prison isn’t like that when you move on.  I thought to myself, yea right, I saw it change while I was there, it can happen anywhere.  So, I applied what I have done all my life and what I applied in Miami, I loved as Jesus loves.  To everyone and all.  And guess what?  Yep, it is like that in here.  They see me reach out to all and everyone.  An Italian friend here says, you look forward to new people coming in and you go to them almost right away. Yes, I do, and I see and smile when I see Jose do it.  Find yourself men that will continue the work, amen.)

Pray for Jose.

2. Evelio, the Guajira indigenous man.  So, in my tough times about a month ago, I was praying and also mentioned it to Jose.  That I want to get back out there and serve the LORD, I want to go to the people in the remote areas.  I said I come to the USA to spread the word of Truth, my own country, the so called “civilized world”.  And they throw me in prison.  I go to the remote areas where the poor and needy are and they accept the help and come to the LORD.  And if they don’t, they still don’t throw me in prison.  How civilized are we in the USA, or first world countries, when we throw the ones that are doing what is right in prison.  I say most remote areas of the world are more “civilized” than us.  We support so much wrong doing and we criticize them because they throw their trash on the ground.  Hypocrites, right?  Well, that was a short rant, because that is how I was thinking.  I wanted to go to the people, like in Africa and Dominican Republic, where dad took us to do mission work.  They accepted our help and many accepted the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  We became family, we lived amongst them and it was some of the happiest times in my life.   So, I began to tell Jose this and pray, “LORD, please send me to those people, the indigenous.  And about a week later or less than that.  God sent Evelio.  God sent me someone who can’t read and does believe in the LORD but can’t learn more due to that.  So, I read the Bible to him and teach him of the things of God.  He goes to church.  He tells me that his sister and family believe in the LORD.  So, I see that I am preparing someone to go unto his people. God heard my cry, but said make disciples Jonathan David.  Your time to get out of prison is not yet (I hope to write a Newsletters soon titled: Not yet.  But that is going to be a hard one, I must put myself aside to be able to write it well, for the words of God to flow through me.)  I’m learning a bit of the guayu language.

Pray for Evelio.

3. Jaime.  This guy is struggling with self.  He says he wants to learn more of the LORD, but I can see his problem is himself. The other day he was saying all the bad things he used to do, and saying how he regretted it, but with a smirk I could see.  So I interrupted him and said your problem is you.  He said I think if I had a good woman, then I could change.  I said you aren’t ready for a wife just by what you said I can tell.  You need Jesus.  I am always looking in every conversation with someone, how to speak of the LORD to them.  You can do it too, but you cant be afraid of losing your job, losing loved ones, losing your life!!!  Are you living for self?  Or for the Selfless One, the One who gave His life for you?  Think about it, what do you live for?  Or who do you live for?  Be honest, don’t lie to yourselves.

Pray for Jaime.

4. Fred.  I met him here in the unit.  We got talking and he told me he is of the House of Yahweh.  A group of people who follow the Bible in ways.  They try to follow the Bible diet that was given to the Hebrews.  I don’t know all of what they believe, so I will not speak of that.   We had a few of their founders or followers, cant remember, they did our video course and 1 if I remember right came to a seminar of ours.   Well, we got talking, Fred and I, about foods etc…  I mentioned MMS and he was like I know of that.  So he read dad’s book and ended up telling a friend with prostate cancer, diabetes and arthritis, if I remember right.  Well, after 3-4 weeks of it, Fred says the guy is feeling great.  Getting healed little by little. and his mother who suffers from osteoporosis is on it and feeling better.  So pray for Fred, his friend and mother.

(Remember the guy in Miami, who I told MMS about and his cousin took it after being sent home to die of HIV.  Well, a few months after telling him that, his cousin was feeling healthy again) If I can be a part of changing people lives while in prison, why can’t you out there?  Too much to live for?  Too much to lose?  Well, maybe losing it would do you well.  I am speaking in general people, think about it.

5. “MAIL FRAUD by the DOJ?”

What? Could this happen? No way.  The Department of Justice?  It cant be. O no, my world is crashing down on me. I can’t believe this.  Well, that was a bit of sarcasm for you all.

But I believe it just happened to me, yes, MAIL FRAUD by the DOJ.

So, 2 people of our followers and supporters sent to AG Pam Bondi the draft that our brother Dick wrote up.  From their address to the address where they could reach AG Pam Bondi.  Well, just the other night I get called for mail.  And in an envelope sent by the DOJ from Washington, D.C. Were 2 opened letters by our supporters.  The DOJ forwarded to me, in prison, 2 letters that did not have any address of mine and was not even written to me.  So, they can go ahead and just send anyone’s letters to people?  For them to even know to send it to me, they would have had to find out where I am and then send it to me.  Isn’t that more work than just returning it to sender?  Or did they not want the sender receiving their letter again?  I already know I am on their radar.  But why are they trying to just push things aside?  Why not answer the people that sent them those letters?  Why forward to me?   Just another wrong thing they do to think about and expose.  People wake up, things aren’t changing for the better.  Some might be trying but the enemy within is pushing back, expose them people…

May God bless you all
