Why is America In Such A DIS-EASED STATE Today? Part 3
This week I want to get back to the reason why our country is in the state it is in presently by looking into history again and identifying who “dropped the ball” so to speak, which allowed our country’s court system to be so unlawful and corrupt. First, I want to quote from a book titled, “The Law above the Law” by Montgomery page 54-55.
“In the 18th century the Bible was killed by unwarranted destructive criticism; the 19th century God was killed; and in the 20th century inevitably man has been killed”.. He adds, “This degeneration is not accidental; each step logically follows from what has preceded: the loss of the Bible leads to the loss of God, for in the Bible is most clearly revealed; the loss of God leaves man at the naked mercy of his fellows, where might makes right”.
Daniel Webster warned America in 1823 when he said, “If the Evangelical volume, (The Gospel), does not reach every hamlet, the pages of a corrupt and licentious literature will; if the power of the Gospel is not felt throughout the length and breadth of the land, anarchy and misrule, degradation and misery, corruption and darkness, will reign without mitigation or end”.
Did Christians drop the ball? Is it because believers didn’t continue to spread the Gospel and teach the Word of God the reason why in 2023 our country is in the STATE it is in today?
The laws of a nation reflect the priorities, agendas and values of that nation at any given time. Look at what the Dean of the Harvard School of Law taught in the 1870s. He was taught Law is not what the Constitution said, but what “
the judges said it was.” He added in other words, “there was no longer objective basis for law guided by Gods laws, but it was an arbitrary decision made by a judge, a subjective decision. So, the absolutes dissolved along with the supposed demise of the Creator.” Look at what a Supreme Court Justice named Oliver Holmes Jr. said about what laws had become, “Beliefs that have triumphed and no more”. He then again said, “Truth is the majority view of nations that could lick, (Beat up), all the others”. He went on to state that, “when it comes to a development of a corpus juris, (or body of law), the ultimate question is: “What do the dominate forces of the community want and do and, do they want it hard enough to disregard whatever inhibitions may stand in the way?” Some of the early 19th century laws and judgements were being based on what the majority wanted and not Gods Word which is the will of the Creator and not man’s will. The Word of God is the basis of all law no matter what the majority wants the “so-called laws” being created to be. The Bible was being treated as “Just another book” and not an objective revelation from God. Slowly but surely the Bible and its Truths were being taken out of America, and it was evidenced by the way the courts were making judgements and Congress passing laws.
In Nazi Germany, in the 30s-40 laws were created that made the Jews less than human and it was not murder to “eliminate them” and other “undesirables” such as the sick and elderly! These laws lead to the murder of over 6 million people! People that were created by God. At the Nuremburg Trials at the end of the 2nd world war many of the German guards that were sentenced to death for being involved of the death of these millions protested before execution by saying, “I was simply following the laws handed down by the courts”! The chief counsel at these trials a man named Robert H. Jackson stated, “That there was a Law about the law” in other words, Law has to be based on morals that ALL MEN have to follow which will bring us to God and His natural Laws that are not only found in the 10 Commandments but written in the hearts of every man! In Romans chapter 2 verses 14-15 the Bible states, “For when the Gentiles, which have not the Law, do by nature the things contained in the Law, these having not the Law, are a Law unto themselves: which shew the work of the Law written in their hearts”. In Jeremiah 31 verse 33, “I will put my Law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts” also in 2nd Corinthians 3:3, we read “The Apostle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the Living God: not in tables of stone, but in fleshly tables of the heart”.
No man is without the Word of God! God made sure that ALL MEN are without excuse and if they seek Him, they will find Him. That is a promise by God found in Jeremiah 29:13, “And ye shall seek Me, and find Me, when you shall search for Me with all your heart”. That promise is also mentioned in Deuteronomy 4:29 and 1st Chronicles 28:9, but it is implied and shown by example throughout the Old and New Testaments. I believe that as individuals this applies to us personally first but also collectively as a family, as a nation and as a world! If a man or women seeks the LORD, they will find Him and He will guide and bless them as they have a personal relationship with Him of their own will. He will be their Father, Guide, Protector, Counselor and Peace as He shows them great and mighty things that they never knew without Him. If the family seeks Him the same is true. If a nation of people seeking Him put Him and His Word first then that nation will experience great blessing and the United States did in its inception, as did Israel. If a nation turns from Him then the opposite is true that nation as did Israel experiences injustice, lack of direction and guidance, loses God and their relationship with Him and lastly Peace. You can see in 2nd Chronicles 7:14 what the Lord say to do when a nation has stopped seeking Him. It states, “If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek my face, and TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS (emphasis mine); THEN will I hear from heaven, and WILL FORGIVE THEIR SINS, and will heal their land”. It is never too late for America to turn back to God and be forgiven and law restored! The same goes for this world but it means the world must SEEK HIM!
The symptoms that a body experiences shows what state the body is in. The good or bad symptoms, or as I say in my book “Emails” are messages the body sends you. Pains, digestive problem, breathing problems, headaches, skin conditions, vision problems, and overall feeling of discomfort etc… is the body telling us that there is a problem that needs to be addressed. Usually, a toxin has entered the body and has disrupted one or more of the thirteen systems the body has to function correctly and maintain a state of AT-EASE or Homeostasis. When those symptoms are not addressed by detoxing, nutrition and exercising the body, the body enters a DIS-EASE state. If at that time, there is still no active attention to correct these now major problems or issues of the body; then death of the body will occur soon thereafter.
The same happens to a nation that doesn’t “address or pay attention” to the symptoms in its society that are crying out loud messages to all of us to DO SOMETHING and turn back to God! The believers or the Children of God are the conscience or Witness of God in any nation. The ones that need to turn back to God are His children today. They are responsible for the DIS-EASED state of our nation, then and only then will the LORD HEAR a nation and “HEAL” a nation when it turns back to Him. When that happens, if it does, then as a nation we can reach out to those that don’t know Him as David said in Psalm 51:12-13 after he personally came back to the LORD, “Restore unto me the Joy of my salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. THEN (Emphasis mine) Will I teach transgressors Thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee”.
