Part 5
I have been answering the question the past few weeks, Why is
America in the State it is in Spiritually in today?
The “State ” Spiritually I believe America is in is a DIS-EASED
State and this didn’t come about overnight. In fact, this has
happened many times in the past to many nations with England
and Germany probably being the most recent in history before
America. Going back way before these countries existed, we can
see in the Scriptures, the Old Testament, how that happened to
Israel. Israel started out with the blessings of the Creator,
JEHOVAH, but ended up in captivity to ruthless nations such as
Assyria and Babylon.
I don’t know how much Bible history everyone reading this letter
today has but, if you are not familiar with the Scriptures then it is
time for you to read what happened to Israel. After being a
blessed nation and experiencing peace with all their enemies they
ended up being slaves! Why did this happen? If you are not
familiar with what took place in the lives of the children of Israel;
it is time for you “to look again” into the reasons why this
happened to Israel and the similarities in what is happening to
America today and understand how God has worked in the affairs
of mankind throughout the history of the world.
It states in God’s Word, that “For I am the LORD, I change not”
in Malachi 3:6 and in another place the Bible says, “Jesus the
same yesterday, and today, and FOREVER” (Emphasis mine) in
Hebrews 13:8. In other words, God is consistent in His character,
and doesn’t change. He will deal with man no matter what day and
age he finds himself living in. He judges men the same way for
the purpose of giving him an opportunity to either come back to a
vibrant relationship with Him or how to maintain a peaceful and
personal contentment that comes with walking with Him daily. I
wrote last week about the LORD being, the “Alpha and the
Omega” from Revelation 1:8. He IS the beginning and the end or
the only reason and purpose of our existence in this universe. Any
other “Reason” is NOT a reason and any other “Purpose” to live
in this life is not a purpose at all; especially in eternity! How
could it be when He is the Creator of ALL things and by Him
ALL things exist as it says in Genesis 1, John 1, and Colossians 1.
That is also the Theme of the whole Bible as Him being and
always has been the King of His ETERNAL kingdom, my
friends.
Now, if you don’t believe that then ask yourself these two
questions; How did I come into existence and why am I here?
If your answer to these two questions, is I believe I came about by
chance and therefore there is no purpose for my life then I guess
you will not understand or believe what I am going to write about
or have written about these last few weeks. But if you do believe
that you were created by God then listen to what history has
taught us about nations that follow the LORD and the results they
have when those nations turn away from the LORD. The results
are severe personally and collectively as a people. History doesn’t
lie, and by heeding to its lessons we can learn much. What we
learn can help us to correct our errors or if gone unheeded can
condemn us further.
I want to write a little today about Germany during the 30s and
40s but before I do let me go back to the 1500s to a man named
Martin Luther. Many of us have heard about the Lutheran church.
Well that church’s name came about by those that followed Martin
Luther. He was not a perfect man, as I am not also, but he did
have a mind and heart for God. In doing so, he translated the New
Testament, taught the Scriptures, wrote many songs ( My favorite
being , “A Mighty Fortress is Our God”) and stood under the
“threat of death” for the LORD and the freedom that he gives us
all in front of the most wicked religious system of his day; the
Catholic Church.
NOTE:I am not saying all people that attend the
Catholic Church are wicked, but I am talking about that religious
system. This system God will destroy in the “near future”
according to Revelation chapters 17-18 (you might want to read
those chapters in the light its history) and you should come to the
same conclusions as many believers throughout history did from
the 15th century to the 18th century.
Not only did Martin Luther believe that the Pope and the Vatican
(“Vatican” meaning the place of divination and built on the
Temple of the two-faced god, Janus) but so did the following men
and the Churches they founded from the 1500’s to the 1800’s:
Martin Luther- the Lutheran church, Thomas Cramer – Anglican
church, John Knox – Scotch Presbyterian church, John Calvin –
Presbyterian church, John Wesley – The Methodist Church, Roger
Williams – Baptist Church, and Cotton Mather -The
Congregational Church. All these men believe that the Catholic
Church was an Anti-Christ system and the pope was the Anti
Christ! Read Revelation chapters 13-18 and tell me if the stage is
not set for the fulfillment of these prophecies found in those
chapters.
None of those churches as a whole today teach what
those believers believed even under the threat of death! The point
about Martin Luther I am trying to make is his stand was based on
the Scriptures and because of his stand he was instrumental in
Germany turning away from religious traditions and rituals and
replacing their beliefs in only the Word of God. His basis for his
belief in God was the verse, “The just shall live by faith”,
Habakkuk 2:4. To understand “Faith” even more read Hebrews
chapter 11.
When Hitler started his accent to power in the 30s Germany was
known as a “Christian nation” with most Churches teaching the
Word of God excluding the Catholic Church, of course. By 1945,
when Germany and Hitler were defeated, there were very few
pastors still preaching Gods word. Those few faithful pastors that
remained were either thrown in prison or killed by Hitler!
NOTE:
During Hilter’s whole “Reign of Terror” he was supported by
the Catholic Church as was Franco and Mussolini. Doesn’t that
“tell” you something about the Vatican?
In April of 1945, amid the ruins of a defeated Germany, Helmut
Thielicke a Pastor in Stuttgart preached a message that basically
said that Germany deserved what happened to it because it had
“repudiated forgiveness and kicked down the Cross of the LORD”
he said that the Sacrifice of God by Christ had been neglected and
it blinded the Churches of Germany. The Churches became
involved in trying to “gain the whole world” but in doing so, “lost
its own soul”. Is that what happened to England, Germany and
France in the 1600-1900s and now today is happening in
America?
God is not mocked! “Denying Gods message of the
Cross is NOT merely a private decision about personal salvation,
but brings brutal consequences.”, Preached Thielicke. Mark 8:36
37 says, “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole
world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in
exchange for His soul”. “The history of the world can tell us
terrible tails based on that text”, said Pastor Thielicke.
When the Jews and other “undesirables” were being rounded up
by the Nazi’s and put on trains, some of the trains would pass by
Churches during services and the congregation would sing louder
to drown out the screams! Could you imagine ignoring the
persecution of innocent people by those that were supposedly
singing to the God of Freedom.
Note: I’ll tell you the truth, my sons and I can relate a little to
those being persecuted innocently by an unlawful, wicked system.
Last Monday was 1000 days for us being kidnapped and held
hostage without a victim, first hand accusers, bail, without trial,
our liberties taken away from us, being defrauded and slandered,
while many that know our situation and story stay silent! But,
God knows which is why we have peace!
In the beginning of Hitler’s Nazi movement there was a Pastor
named Dietrich Bonhoeffer who warned the German people, even
by radio, of what was happening! Hitler executed him by hanging
at 39 years old! What happened after was 100s of faithful pastors
stood against Hitler and he threw them into prisons and many of
them died also but the majority of the pastors stayed silent. The
rest of the “Christians” did NOTHING and stayed silent also. And
we know by their silence millions were killed and Germany
destroyed. Is it a small thing to turn from God, His word and its
message of salvation?
You might think that the message of the
Cross or the sacrifice of God Himself is only one message of all
the Bible, but It is the CULMINATION OF ALL THE
BIBLE’SHISTORY PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE AND
WILL BE FOR ETERNITY, MY FRIENDS!
The Apostle Paul who died in Rome by being beheaded by NERO
said in Romans 1:16, “I am not ashamed of the Gospel (The
Death, Burial and Resurrection) of Christ for it is the POWER OF
GOD UNTO SALVATION (Emphasis mine). He also wrote in
first Corinthians 1:18, “the preaching of the Cross is to THEM
THAT PERISH FOOLISHNESS, but unto us that are saved it is
the POWER OF GOD” (Emphasis mine).
The Sacrifice or the
one-time offering for sin by the Messiah Jesus, Emanuel is the
POWER OF GOD! It is so powerful that at the name of Jesus one
day all, EVERYONE that ever lived will bow to Him!
“Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a
name ABOVE EVERY NAME (Emphasis mine), that at the name
of Jesus EVERY knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things
in the earth, and things under the earth; and that EVERY
TONGUE (Yours included) should confess that JESUS CHRIST
IS LORD, to the Glory of God the Father”, Philippians 2:9-11.
My friends, the only hope for you is to do that now before you
close your eyes in death to have your name in the book of life! If
you choose to ignore this message, then this is what will happen
to you if your name is NOT in the Book of Life at the GREAT
WHITE THRONE OF JUDGEMENT ONE DAY IN THE
FUTURE! “And whosoever was not found written in the book of
life was cast into the lake of fire”, Revelation 20:15. This is where
also Satan, the Anti-Christ and the False Prophet will be spending
eternity! see Revelation 20:10.
I love you all, that is why I am warning you of the judgement
coming! I pray for America as it is heading towards destruction
with all the similar warning signs of other fallen nations in history
that turned from God and His message. Starting with Israel,
Assyria, Babylon, Persia, Egypt, Greece, Rome, Spain, France,
Germany and England etc…. Spiritually speaking as yes the world
as a whole.
Next week I want to talk about what we as “True Believers” CAN
AND MUST do to change the direction America is headed if
there is still time!
