Why is America in the STATE that it is in today? – Part 4
God is called the “Alpha and the Omega” in the Scriptures. “Alpha” is the first letter of the Greek alphabet and “Omega” is the last letter. The first time this phrase is mentioned in the Bible it is in the book of the Revelation 1:8, but the concept is found in the first book and chapter of the Bible, Genesis 1:1 where it states, “In the beginning God”. The Lord or God “was and is” the beginning of ALL things and the last book of Revelation and the last Chapter also, ” I am the Alpha and the Omega”, Rev. 22? where He is the “end of all and His purpose fulfilled!
I want to write today about the importance of understanding this phrase the “Alpha and Omega” and how it applies to our lives and our nation and yes; the world as a whole for that matter. The reason why the first letter of the Greek alphabet is used is significant. What the Lord is showing us is that He is the “Reason” or the beginning of ALL THINGS THAT EXIST! Colossians 1;17 puts it this way, ” And He is before ALL things and by Him ALL things consist”. (all caps emphasis mine throughout this letter)
Many people throughout the history of this world have tried to “reason” Him out of being the Reason that all things consist by declaring that creation came about without a creator which is logically absurd. To have a design there must be a Designer and there is plenty of design in this creation and complexity that boggles the mind, even down to quantum physics (the smallest objects of the universe) you will see amazing complexity. I am not going to address creation in this newsletter today. I want to focus the message of this week’s newsletter on God being the “Beginning” and the “End” of all things.
So if God, I am speaking rhetorically, is the Beginning of all things or the Reason for all that exists and him being the “Omega” or the end of all things then He has a “purpose” why all things He created exist. Does that sound logical? There are verses in the Scripture that explain very clearly. In Revelation 4:11 the Bible says, “For Thou has created all things,(the Reason) and for Thy pleasure,(the Purpose) they are and were created”. The “All things” that were created includes us. If you wrote the words “Alpha and Omega” on a piece of paper and drew a straight line connecting the words, then everything that exists would be between those two words. That means we as men and women fall between God’s reason and God’s purpose. which would mean the reason why we exist is Him and the Purpose we exist is His purpose not ours. That makes us NOT the beginning and NOT the end; God is the Beginning and the End not us.
God doesn’t want us to be the beginning and the end. When we make ourselves the reasons to live, we become the “Alpha” We are not the “Alpha”! If your motive to live is for yourself then you are taking the place of God and you then become your own god. Then in essence you really have no reason to live because you are NOT the reason you exist! Does that make sense to you? Let’s continue to follow this “train of thought” by asking yourselves, “what are you goals”? Are your goals in your life for you? Wouldn’t that make that your purpose in life what you want and not God? Would that then make you the Omega of your life and not Him? So basically, you don’t have a purpose in your life except the self-fulfilling purpose which in Gods eyes is contrary to His will and in reality, is not a purpose at all because you CANNOT CONTROL THE END WHATSOEVER!!!
Only God knows the beginning from the end, in other words the Future and we certainly don’t.
So let’s make sense of all of this, let’s go back to the line between the two words “Alpha” and “Omega” which represents where we live and exist. If we live for ourselves and our goals not the Alpha’s (In other words, God) and our goals and purposes are not God’s so then the line becomes a circle. We are not the reason of our existence, so we have no eternal, long lasting purpose.
To live as God desires us to live is to live in the reality that He has the ONLY reasons and purpose that matters because He is the Creator of all and the reasons and purpose we all exist. When we have the mindset that our lives become the vessel for His purposes and the instrument for His end, we live for a reason and for a purpose much greater than ourselves, in fact an eternal purpose. Make Him the beginning and the end of all your do. Then and only then can you become His vessel that He will use to show forth to this world, His love, His power, His purposes, His spirit, His blessings and His reason for living and that is FOR HIM! By doing so we are laying up eternal treasures in heaven where those treasures are safe and will be enjoyed with Him in the future eternally!
All nations were set up by God, but many use that fact to “prove” that we need to obey whatever government we are living in or we are disobeying God. Is that true? Let’s look at a few verses in context and you decide. In 1st Peter chapter 2 verse 1 it states, “Submit yourself to every ordinance of man for the LORDs sake: whether it be to king, as supreme or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by Him for the “punishment of evildoers”, and for the praise of them that “do well”. Isn’t that saying that God set up governments to punish evildoers? Is it also saying that the government should praise and not punish those that do well? What is the guide governments need to use to guide them in deciding what is “evil” and what is “good”? If God set them (The governments) up, then He is the one that also guides the governments in making moral and lawful laws that DO NOT contradict Him or His Word. Does that make sense? Let’s look at another scripture that continues to clarify the explanation of obeying governments means found in romans 13:1-4, “Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God” The next three verses show us what type of government God ordained and what governments “ALL SOULS” should submit unto; and if any souls resist that type of government, then they will “receive to themselves damnation” it states in verse 2. Then the LORD explains what a government ordained by God should be doing. In verse 3 it states, “For the rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil”. Paul then adds a question, “Wilt thou then be afraid of the power”? Then he answers by saying. “Do that which is good and thou should have praise of the same”.
A government ordained by God is to “punish evildoers” and “praise/reward those that do good”. That type of government should be obeyed or “subject to”. What if a government makes laws that punish “good works” with immoral laws and rewards “evil works or sins”? What should believers do? Peter and John were arrested, beaten and told to NOT help anyone by healing them and to stop teaching about Jesus. What did they tell the “powers that be” in their day? They responded in Acts 4:19-20 by saying, “Whether it be right in the sight of God to harken unto you more than God, judge ye. For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard”. Then in chapter 5 verse 29, Peter and the other apostles went further by saying, “We aught to obey God rather than men”. So when a ruler, government or official demands obedience to an ungodly, unlawful law, statute, or code we should obey God before anything that opposes Him or His Word and His Will.
Christians that say that we should always obey the government they live under are NOT interpreting what God said correctly. We only obey a government when that government follows what is “Good and right” in Gods eyes based on His word not man’s laws! Go back to romans 13:1-4 and read those verses again, verse 4 says, “For he (the ruler or official), is the minister of God to thee ‘FOR GOOD’ “. He that represents the government is “a minister of God” when they are doing “Good”. Remember that!
My sons and I have been held as political prisoners for almost 1000 days for doing Good! This is why we are obeying God and disobeying the FDA and the DOJ. I immediately told them in my first letters to them in April of 2020 that we will obey God and stand for Good. This is where we stand today, after 1000 days.
Next week, I will continue to explain our stand and the “Liberty” we have as the sons of God to continue in part 5.
May the LORD guide all of us as we follow His Word
