Hello Everyone,

I wanted to give a short update of my son Jonny before I write this short Newsletter.

Praise the LORD Jesus Christ and our Father, Who has yet again shed His mercies on my family and I. Unless I would have had sorrow upon sorrow.  He saved my son’s life and I am so very thankful.  Also thank you all for your prayers, may God bless you all.

Jonny is healing very well, after a surgery to reconstruct his nose he now has the gauze removed for about a week now and can breathe better.  He is having a full recovery, only needs about a month for the nose to not be very sore.  Also his broken hand is still in the cast for another few weeks or more.  But we hear he should have a full recovery.  It could have been much worse, but God in His goodness to my family and I, has spared my son’s life.  I forever am thankful.  And I am encouraged to keep on standing firm for the truth of Jesus Christ my LORD and Saviour.  For He is the Lion of Judah and when He returns, He will not be coming as He did the first time.  He is coming with vengeance, my God is coming for vengeance. Woe to you world. Woe to you wicked who think you are not seen for the evil you do.  Woe unto you sinners.  Now is the time to repent and turn to Jesus Christ our LORD and King, before it is to late.  Will you be of the ones crying out to the rocks to fall upon them?  Or are you going to be of the ones who is saved of the terror to come?

I choose to not only believe in Jesus, I choose to walk with Him.  What about you?

On the 24th of this month, 3 days ago.  As I was in the shower,(Some of our only times to be alone. I pray as I shower and the LORD speaks to me.)the LORD pointed out to me something that happened in the day that made me think about walking with God.  I had to work that day.  So I was available for when my counselor called.  I put off what I wanted to do, basically putting off my will to do what I want.  Just to be available when called on.  So we had to go out to get supplies, a few guys and I and my counselor.  One of the guys who has been doing this much longer than I and knows all details that need to be done.  He was doing some things of his own when we went out of the unit and said he would be right there.  Of course he knows what to do and where to go.  So he can take advantage and do other things and catch up in a bit.  I guess those are the advantages one can have when we are more experienced, right?  Bare with me, I will make my point soon enough.

As we were running around and doing what was needed, the guy went ahead and went where he thought we would be by then and we weren’t there.  Of course he caught up and the work got done.  But when I was in the shower, what came to me was interesting and revealing.

The whole time I was by my counselors side, I was able to adjust and do what was ordered and needed in real time. Therefore I was being more efficient for the job, in that very moment. Any sudden changes or new ideas I can take care of on the fly, because I am present.  I am walking with my counselor.  (Mind you, I am not dissing the guy with much more experience than I, he has been much of a help to me learning the ways of things in this job. I appreciate that very much. I actually was witnessing to him right now 02/26/26 at 2:30 pm-3 pm.)

Let’s bring this lesson into a spiritual understanding, yea?  Some of us might know the Bible backwards and forwards, memorized all the verses so to say, live a pretty good “Christian life” in the eyes of many people. But if my own will comes before God’s will, I will not be walking side by side with the LORD Jesus Christ.  So how will I know when He says-“Go Jonathan, tell that person, go pray my son, help that person, stand against that evil and the list goes on and on?  If I am so focused on what I want to do, how can I do what the LORD wants of me?  I need to be walking side by side with Jesus to hear His voice, His commands, callings and desires for me.  But that takes giving up of my life, living selflessly and walking with Jesus.

As we walk with Jesus and stay right next to Him, when He tells us to do something, whether we know or memorize His Word from start to finish or not, we will hear His voice and do His will.

In the Word of God there are many examples of men that walked with God. Adam walked with God and when he wasn’t, that is when he sinned.  Enoch walked with God and was caught up to the LORD.  The 3 Hebrew men walked with God in the fire and were saved.  The list goes on and on.  And if you walk in the Spirit you will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh.  So walk with Jesus my brothers and sisters and you will do the will of the Father.

O yea, remember, you cant walk with Jesus if you don’t know Him as your LORD and Saviour. John 3:3 says-“Jesus answered and said unto him,Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

May God bless you all, I thank you all for your prayers and support for me and my family.  It will be such a great day when we are all together with the LORD.  He is coming back soon!!!
